Since the first official Clean Up Australia Day on 21 January 1990, communities all over Australia have gotten involved each year and taken positive, practical action to clean up the environment. This year, once again many of our CEDoW schools have embraced the opportunity to join in and clean up their "own backyard".
At Holy Family Ingleburn, the school came together to take practical action in improving their environment. Students were informed about the impact of rubbish on the local environment, and played an active role in helping clean up their school.
At St Pius X Unanderra the new Kindergarten children enthusiastically took part in their first "Clean Up" continuing the great tradition of environmental activism of the school.
St Joseph's Albion Park held a "Clean Up Joey's Day" collecting 99 bags of rubbish from around the school.
